About Sanjay Agnihotri
Sanjay Agnihotri was born in Queens, New York City, and raised in New Jersey, India, England and Saudi Arabia. His work has been published in American Short Fiction and One Story. His short story “Guerrilla Marketing” won a Pushcart Prize for fiction and was anthologized in The Pushcart Prize XLIII: Best of the Small Presses (2019). His work has been nominated for the PEN Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers, and an ASME award for fiction. He attended the Breadloaf Writers conference and in 2022 he graduated from the Rutgers MFA program in Newark, New Jersey. He just finished a novel “The Book of Swami” and is currently working on a collection of linked stories about migrant workers and immigrants (primarily from the lower depths of the Indian sub-continent) living and working in northern New Jersey.
